Yesterday after a diaper change I had an impulse to put Alya on the little potty we have (Baby Bjorn – simple, good design, cute!). She sat for a few minutes and smiled and then, as I said “Psss” … pee came out! I lifted her up and there it was … we caught our first pee. I’m thrilled, and can’t wait to catch more! I’m planning to try just after feedings and diaper changes in addition to trying to figure out her cues. The major challenge: she generally poops while nursing, and I don’t think I can do both at the same time. However, I’m sure we’ll figure out a system soon enough.
